Junior ROTC, or Reserved Officer Training Course, was established in 1916, as part of the National Defense Act. Pell City JROTC is a student led program, where the students learn discipline, leadership skills, and make life long connections with each other. Supervised by Sergeant First Class Agnew and Colonel Hearn, the entire program is led by students appointed into positions of leadership, teaching students responsibility.  Courses are available starting in Duran North for the eighth graders, all the way to your senior year of high school.
